About Solid

Hi--I'm Solid!

I've been friends with PUMA for a couple years now. We are in the same opportunity and met at an event in Cancun, Mexico.

My story is quite a bit different than hers, though.

I was an independant accountant working out of my home after a four-year stint as the CFO of a non-profit organization. I was making decent money and working from home, but the work required a great deal of focus. I actually started looking into buying a car wash. I was looking at investing about $500,000 (which I didn't have at the time) into a local car wash and anticipating about a $65,000 per year return. That's when I came across our opportunity. I took one look at the return on investment here and dropped the car wash idea like a hot potato! I have had a lot of success in the business--my best month so far is $34,000 net profit - which was more than my husband was making in an entire year at his teaching job, so he retired at the age of 36. I slowly phased out the cumbersome accounting business and now this is all I do.

Though I have personally had great success, I have struggled with helping others do the same, so I was excited when PUMA told me about her secret fascination with Mystery and the community--even though the idea of a Mormon mom getting involved in this is a little weird.

Mystery has taken what we know to be the factors of success and put them into a science--cold hard facts about social interaction. And, as Wallace D. Wattles said in The Science of Getting Rich. "There is a science of getting rich, and it is an exact science, like algebra or arithmetic. There are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches; once these laws are learned and obeyed by any man, he will get rich with mathematical certainty."

I am excited to be working on this project and developing a way to quickly and easily teach others the science of social dynamics, which is the science of network marketing, which is, of course, the science of getting rich.

About PUMA

Hi--I'm PUMA!

I am a freak of nature: 40, married, Mormon, and inexplicably obsessed with the PUA community.

Here's the scoop:

One day I was flipping channels and came across this strange looking guy on VH1. Curiosity got the best of me--who is he? What is talking about? What is this show? So I kept watching it. I loved it and started watching it every week. I thought my fascination was just because it was about underdogs doing something great, and that's what I love best.

When season 2 came around, I started watching it from the beginning, and I realized that the reason I loved it was much, much more powerful.

You see, a few years ago, I started a business from the ground up and failed. I started a direct marketing business and failed. I started a web business and failed. Now I am in a nework marketing business, and though I have made some money (more than my other businesses combined), I have spent a heck of a lot more than I have made. But I refuse to give up! My current business is all about personal development--self improvement. It is the perfect business model and I love it, love it, love it. I mean, I am all about personal improvement. I guess that's one of the reasons I love the PUA community so much. Real guys really out there to become the best people they can be--with measurable results. Right on!

Anyway, while watching The Pickup Artist, I realized that what Mystery was teaching these guys was EXACTLY THE SAME THING that all of the network marketing and business gurus were teaching--all of the tools and techniques to help us be successful were the same!

And yet for some oddball reason, I connected and resonated with the way Mystery was teaching it. With all the science and psychology explained, it just made so much sense!

So, I have dedicated myself to learning everything I can about pick up and applying it not to picking up women, but to picking up money. In fact, that's how I got my name: PUMA: the pick up MONEY artist. :o)

I am publishing everything I'm learning on this blog.
